Video game widows and widowers
Apr. 29th, 2008 | 05:42 pm
So, when a new video game comes out, it's really exciting. Am I right? Especially one you've been waiting for for a long time. There's nothing better than just playing the hell out of that game for weeks until you get tired of it.
Oh, wait; there is something better than that. It's called living your life.
Look, you have a right to be excited about a video game, but your loved ones have a right to you. If you want to spend some serious time playing that new (or new to you) game, talk about it with your SO and come to an agreement on when you can play it and when you can't. Don't put your relationship or entire life on hold until you tire of a video game.
And SOs, be reasonable. Don't deny someone you love something that makes them so happy. If they plan ahead to spend an entire evening playing a video game, let them do that. If it's your birthday, ask them to re-schedule their video game time before they start playing that night. If they want to play every night for a month, feel free to put your foot down.

The birds and the bees
Apr. 22nd, 2008 | 04:51 pm
When a bird and a bee love each other very much, they buy each other flowers. Then, a stork visits a cabbage patch.
And that is where robots come from in the future.

How things even out
Feb. 29th, 2008 | 04:59 pm
And excerpt from Jack Handey's essay "How Things Even Out"
"Eventually, I believe, everything evens out. Long ago, an asteroid hit our planet and killed our dinosaurs. But, in the future, maybe we'll go to another planet and kill their dinosaurs."

Interesting "facts" about women
Oct. 29th, 2007 | 05:40 pm
And by "facts" I mean completely wrong and made up statements that have nothing to do with reality.
If you want more imaginary "facts," might I re-recommend Conservipedia?
